Neko’s back to doing her tutorials and today she’s showing her technique for creating dynamic pixel animation as seen in Doggo’s Special Attack. These techniques actually work for any kind of hand-drawn animation: traditional animation, pixel animation, anime, you name it! Although Neko’s using Clip Studio Paint Ex for this tutorial, the process will work with almost any 2d animation software, or no software at all! Most of this will work just as well with pencil and paper (you might miss having an undo button though). ^_^ Whether you’re an animator looking to learn a new trick or two, or you’re just curious about what went into making the Retro RPG Sequence for episode 1, you may wanna check out Neko’s video. In preparation for the official launch of PlotQuest, we’re going to start releasing at least one video a month (animation previews, behind-the-scenes, tutorials, etc.) These may come out sooner than – or in between – our bi-weekly updates, so if you’d like to stay up-to-date on the latest Popcorn Sundae stuff please subscribe to our channel… or don’t, it’s a free country, you be you!
